Holistic Advanced Planning
Looking ahead to death can be valuable at any stage of life, and can be prompted by all sorts of life events. You may have had a change in your health, bereavement, shift in work or family life or want to work on specific fears or hopes.
In these sessions we work together to bring clarity to aspects of your living and dying, as well as creating practical plans to support you in the time of your dying.
Each person is unique, as is their combination of experiences, ideas and beliefs. You may have a very clear idea about what you would like to cover, or an undefined sense of needing to approach your future dying.
The outline structure below gives a suggested shape to advanced planning, which can be flexible according to your needs.
Session structure
Initial meeting
To explore what has brought you to this moment, your experiences of death and dying, what you hope to achieve in our work and confirm how you would like to use your time.
Ordering affairs
We work on what steps you might want to take to prepare your practical affairs in advance of your end of life. I do not provide financial or legal advice.
